We can only say great things about this business! We needed a wind mitigation done for insurance purposes ASAP and they really came thru for us. Matt was able to get it done very quickly as well as send a copy directly to our insurance company. The insurance company then demanded additional measurements to be done (thru no fault of Mawby Home Inspections) and Matt was back out to our house within a day to satisfy their request. He then forwarded that over to them as well. Both Matt & Rae were very personable, professional, and extremely efficient! We highly recommend their service and wouldn’t hesitate using them again in the future👍

I literally called Matt 24 hours before my inspection period ended due to another company not responding. The owner Matt was very kind, understanding and helpful, he told me that he had a full schedule. I explained to him I needed it done before the inspection period ended and I had not heard back from the 1st company that was actually supposed to do it. Matt looked at his schedule and was able to fit me in at 9am the following morning, I was given my quote instantly I didn’t have to wait for it to be generated and his prices are literally the best around town! It was an absolute pleasure working with Matt Mawby on the inspection of a new home we've recently purchased in Tampa. Response time from initial inquiry was less than an hour, I was able to schedule an inspection the next day, and it all went exactly as planned with no surprises. Matt was highly communicative both by text and phone, and always responded quickly when I had questions. There were several specific pre-inspection items that I was concerned about, and Matt talked to me in advance about the likelihood of these actually manifesting as issues, and was then quick to assure me after inspection that all was well. Finally, I asked Matt if he could provide a Wind Mitigation report, which I hadn't initially ordered, and he hopped right on it at minimal extra cost. The bottom line: I highly recommend Mawby Home Inspections if you need an inspection in the Tampa Bay area.
